Brewery

Hopdaemon sold its first beers in January 2001 and since then, brewery production has grown considerably and now supplies award-winning beers to over 70 pubs and restaurants throughout Kent .

Hopdaemon Beers are brewed in Newnham, near Faversham using the brewery's unique strain of yeast, local hops and traditional malted barley. Hop varieties include East Kent Goldings, Fuggles and Challenger.

The Brewery strives to use traditional local-grown ingredients wherever possible.

Traditional brewing methods are followed and quality is paramount at the Hopdaemon Brewery. The purest ingredients are used at all times, and careful attention is paid to consistency throughout the brewing process.

As a result of this attention to detail, you can be confident that you are buying natural-brewed beers of the highest quality.

Brewer

Tonie Prins, the Hopdaemon himself, learnt his craft with well-known brewers such as Bishops Brewery, London and Swale Brewery, Kent. Of New Zealand origin, he has developed a passion for traditional English ales and brewing methods. Now settled in Kent , he pours that passion into his ales - to the benefit to all who drink them!
